Headquarters Company Commanding Officer
Captain Maria L. Harley
Captain Maria Harley was commissioned in August
2008. Upon completion of The Basic
School, she was designated a Communications Officer and attended Basic
Communication Officers Course in 2009. Upon graduation from Comm School she was
assigned as the Communications Officer for Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 at
MCAS Cherry Point, NC. While with
MWSS-274 Capt Harley deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and then
again with Special Purpose MAGTF Southern Partnership Station (Amphibious)
2012. In May 2012, Capt Harley
transferred to Training and Education Command and was assigned as the Aide-de-Camp
for the Commanding General. In July
2014, Capt Harley attended Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, VA and
then the Advanced Communication Officers Course.
Capt Harley took command of Headquarters Company, 7th
Communication Battalion on August 21, 2015.
