U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Philippine Marines with 2nd Rifle Company, Provisional Battalion, speak about their personal experiences during the inaugural KAMANDAG at Colonel Ernesto P. Ravina Air Base, Philippines, October 6 and 7, 2017. Bilateral exercises such as KAMANDAG increase the ability of the United States and the Philippines to rapidly respond and work together during real world terrorist or humanitarian crises, in order to accomplish the mission, support the local population and help mitigate human suffering.
