Sailors with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, established a Role II capabilities display to give service members the opportunity to view their full facilities. Role II facilities give Sailors the ability to offer ultrasound, X-ray, surgery and dental while providing a place for injured service members to be treated. U.S. Marines prepare to set up security during a live-fire recovery mission on Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Nov. 9, 2018, as part of the Integrated Training Exercise 1-19. Marines with Transportation Services Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 4, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, trained to recover damaged vehicles and personnel during combat operations. ITX 1-19 is a large-scale Marine Air-Ground Task Force integration exercise in which CLB-4 Marines and Sailors train to respond quickly to any contingency by fully integrating with ground and air combat elements of the MAGTF. U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Alan A. Ninobla III finishes a triage care scenario with fellow Sailors from the Camp Kinser Dental clinic Nov. 16, 2018 on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Sailors from dental clinics on Okinawa participated in Tactical Casualty Care to reinforce the basics of triage care for personnel involved in combat operations with support from Sailors with 3rd Medical Battalion. The various scenarios were chosen to depict common injuries that are seen during deployments.
