Unit, Personal Family Readiness Program (UPFRP) Policy Statement
The Marine Corps values the support and contributions of our 3d Law Enforcement Battalion families throughout the Pacific. An effective family readiness program is essential to our overall operational readiness and capability to respond to all global requirements. Our Marines and Sailors will remain focused and committed to their assigned mission knowing their spouse and immediate family members can count on our family readiness program to provide timely support in the face of unexpected events.
Unit, personal and family readiness begins with the individual Marine, Sailor, and family member. The unique challenges posed by living overseas far from family, friends and home can be mitigated by ensuring that important documents such as Family Care Plans, recall information, record of emergency data (RED), wills, power of attorney, insurance policies, financial information, and medical and dental records are up to date. My intention is simple: keep the faith with our Marines, Sailors, and family members. We will ensure that effective support programs are available to all Marines, Sailors and family members.
3d Law Enforcement Battalion will ensure that unit, personal, and family readiness programs are established and provided to support the needs of all personnel within our command. All Marines are encouraged to utilize the family readiness officer and their chain of command to address any family readiness issues or concerns. Mrs. Katrina Horsley-Watts is the Family Readiness Officer for 3d Law Enforcement Battalion. Please contact her at 315 623 2807 for assistance.
