Lieutenant Colonel Wesley A. Tucker

LtCol Tucker is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and graduated from
the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
and was commissioned in May 2007.

LtCol Tucker is a MAGTF Intelligence Officer,
Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Officer, and Information
Operations (IO) Staff Officer. His assignments include:

2008 – 2011. Platoon Commander and Company Executive Officer,
CI/HUMINT Co, 3d Intelligence Battalion, Okinawa, Japan

2011– 2012. Student, Expeditionary Warfare School, Quantico, VA

2012 – 2015. Information Operations Officer, Marine Corps
Information Operations Command, Quantico, Virginia

2015 – 2017. Assistant Intelligence Officer, 24th Marine
Expeditionary Unit, Camp Lejeune, NC

2017 – 2018. G2 Plans Officer, II MEF, Camp Lejeune, NC

2018 – 2020. Operations Officer and Executive Officer, 2d Radio Bn, Camp Lejeune, NC

2020 – 2021. Student, Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL

2021 – Present: Branch Chief, J37-Joint Training & Exercises Division, SOCOM HQ, Tampa, FL

His deployments include serving as a reports officer, G2X, MEB-A in Afghanistan from 2009-2010,
Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Detachment OIC in the Philippines (2011), IO Officer with 13th MEU
(2013-2014), and S2A with 24th MEU (2017).

LtCol Tucker is a graduate of MAGTF Basic Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Course, USMC
Expeditionary Warfare School (distant and resident), Intelligence Tactics Instructions (ITI) Course, MAGTF Intelligence Officer Course (MIOC), Intermediate MAGTF Information Operations Practitioner Course (I-MIOPC), Naval Collection Manager’s Course, USMC Command and Staff College (distant), and Air Command and Staff College (resident). He holds a master’s degree in Military Operational Art and Science from Air University.
