U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Nathaniel Cray/Released 160721-M-XX123-001.JPG
Jul 26, 2016
A local Guam resident brings food to his tent by the road where the 3rd Marine Division color guard marches during Guam’s annual Liberation Day Parade July 21, 2016. This is the first time in 72 years that the Marine color guard has been a part of the Liberation Day Parade. The forward presence of Marines and Sailors across the Indo-Asia-Pacific today enables the same rapid response witnessed 72 years ago during the liberation of Guam.
