Copenhaver is the recipient of the Marine Corps Association and Foundation Noncommissioned Officer Award for Operational Communications Excellence, also known as the PFC Herbert A. Littleton Enlisted Communications Award. The award is presented to a noncommissioned officer who displays superior knowledge and understanding of communications and data systems employment in support of command and control. “I just did my job.
