Retired Army Capt. Benjamin Moriniere, a martial arts sensei at Capoeira Academy Okinawa, provides a family environment for service members and Okinawans in Okinawa, Japan. “I had three main wishes: to be in the Army, to teach martial arts and to come to Japan — and I got all three of them,” said Moriniere, from Fort Hood Texas.
