Marines and Navy personnel with 3d Medical Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group, participate in the Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC) course, Nov. 9, 2017, on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The TCCC course teaches Corpsmen and Marines how to stabilize a casualty on the battlefield long enough for them to reach the next echelon of care. Bellamour, from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is a tactical combat casualty care instructor with the Tactical Medical Simulation Center, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Bellamour describes his experience as a first responder during the 2010 Haiti earthquake and how it influenced his decision to join the Navy.
