U.S. and Royal Thai Armed Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians test the effects of special charges on unexploded ordnance during an EOD special charges training at Ta Mor Roi training area in Surin Province, Kingdom of Thailand, May 25, 2023. Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) team leaders from U.S. Armed Forces and Royal Thai Armed Forces, refine advanced EOD low order and render safe techniques in order to supplement curriculum for EOD level 3 training for use in HMA programs worldwide. This partnership is aligned with the U.S. Department of Defense’s HMA Program, which assists partnered nations affected by landmines, explosive remnants of war, and the hazardous effects of unexploded ordnance.
