III Marine Expeditionary Force unit for Balikatan 2015, 3rd Marine Division Formed III MEF Forward, augmented by 3rd Marine Logistics Group and 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. During Balikatan III MEF Forward, in partnership with Philippine Marine Corps, Combined Freedom Banner, a Maritime Pre-positioning force operation and Combined Vigilance, a large-scale field training exercise.
