Marines from across the U.S. Pacific Command formed a Marine Air-Ground Task Force that integrated with a U.S. joint task force to conduct missions that enhance joint operational readiness during Exercise Valiant Shield on Guam and around the Mariana Islands Range Complex from Sept. 12-23, 2016. Valiant Shield is a biennial U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps exercise held in Guam, focusing on real-world proficiency in sustaining joint forces at sea, in the air, on land and in cyberspace.
