U.S. Marines and Sailors with 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines participate in the 3d MLR Summer Exercise Series '24 which includes Balikatan 24, Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum, and Marine Aviation Support Activity 24, in Norther Luzon, Philippines, April 15 - June 30, 2024. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences. ACDC is a series of bilateral exchanges and training opportunities between U.S. Marines and Philippine Marines aimed at bolstering the Philippine Marine Corps’ Coastal Defense strategy while supporting the modernization efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
