FIRST LIEUTENANT ALEXANDER C. HAVERMALE

SERVICE COMPANY OPERATIONS OFFICER
First Lieutenant Alex Havermale was commissioned in May 2013 from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. Upon completion of The Basic School, class 3-14, he was designated as a 0602 Communications Officer. En route to his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) school, he was assigned to the School of Infantry-East Infantry Training Battalion, Camp Geiger, NC, where he served as a research monitor evaluating the 03XX integration efforts of the Marine Corps Female Integration Program (MCFIP). In January 2015, First Lieutenant Havermale was assigned to the Marine Corps Communication Electronics School (MCCES) at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, California, where he attended the Basic Communication Officers Course in April. Upon completion of the course, in October 2015, First Lieutenant Havermale was assigned to 7th Communication Battalion in Okinawa, Japan, and assumed command of Tactical Networking Platoon, Company A. In May 2016, First Lieutenant Havermale was transferred to Company B, where he assumed the roles of Company Executive Officer and Company Operations Officer, serving full-time as Company Operations Officer from August to December 2016. First Lieutenant Havermale presently serves as the Company Executive Officer for Service Company.
